Elaegar Plushie

I finished this like a month ago and just haven't bothered uploading pictures ugh.

I found these suede-y brown fabrics at a thrift store and bought em, thinking it'd come in handy some day, and shortly after I realized that the lighter one would make a decent medium-ish skin tone, so I figured, why not make a plushie of my old OC Elaegar? I used the same pattern (BabyLondonStar's famous pattern) I did for my old Tracey Plush, but with a few more practical adjustments (Making the hair ahead of time, making his shoes just his feet instead of trying removable, iron-on eyes, etc.) Just for fun, and he turned out a little wonky, but I like him regardless. <3

I'm actually taking a sewing class through my school's theater department this semester, so hopefully by December my sewing projects will actually turn out nice instead of "a little wonky." And I plan to use the sewing machine at school to make some more plushies, too...

Materials include thrift store suede, an old pair of my sister's jeans, some shiny fabric that was on sale, some stretchy brown fabric I found, and some shiny grey fabric from a remnant bin (I AM A TERRIBLE SEWER OKAY? I have no idea what these fabrics are....). Face was drawn in Photoshop and printed on iron-on transfer paper. His scar and the details on his clothes I stitched on by hand, and his necklace is some ring I bought at Michaels on a bit of chain I had to cut with tweezers because I couldn't find my jewelry tools....(Everything about this feels so pathetic wow).
